What is consignment with Randolph Goods?

We offer a full-service consignment experience. Once your item is received, we handle authentication, photography, marketing, buyer communication, and the sale process from start to finish.

How do I get started?

Submit a consignment inquiry with details about your item, including photos, condition, and any inclusions. Once approved, we will provide a consignment agreement and shipping instructions.

What items do you accept?

We specialize in authentic pre-owned luxury bags from Hermès and select pre-owned timepieces from brands like Rolex, Cartier, Audemars Piguet, and Patek Philippe. Each item is reviewed to ensure it meets our standards and aligns with current market demand.

What do I need to send with my bag?

Please include any original accompaniments you have, such as:
Box
Dust bag
Felt
Clochette
Lock and key set
Original receipt (redacted copies are acceptable)

While not required, these items can help maximize value.

How do I ship my item?

We provide a fully insured shipping label. All items must be shipped from within the United States to avoid customs fees. For clients near New York City, secure local pickup may be available.

Is my item insured while in your possession?

Yes. Randolph Goods assumes full responsibility for your item while it is in our possession.

How is authenticity handled?

Authentication will be conducted during the inspection process prior to listing. We have an in-house team as well as consult with third party experts.

How is pricing determined?

We work with you to determine a competitive market price based on current demand, condition, and comparable sales. Our goal is to price appropriately so the item sells efficiently while maximizing your return.

When do I get paid?

Once your item sells and the buyer’s payment has cleared, your payout is issued via ACH or wire transfer within 10 business days.

What happens if there is an issue with my item?

If the item does not match the described condition or authenticity, we will work with you to resolve the issue or return the item.

Can I list my item somewhere else?

Randolph Goods retains exclusive selling rights for 120 days from the date we receive your item.

Can I request my item back?

Yes — After the 120-day exclusivity period, you may request the return of your item at any time.

If you request the item back before the 120-day period ends, a 20% restocking fee may apply.

What happens if my item doesn’t sell?

After the exclusivity period, the agreement may continue or be terminated by either party. If terminated, we will coordinate return shipping.
